Vincent Hely is an Independent Civil funeral celebrant and delivers non-religious, semi-religious and spiritual funeral services.
Native of Co. Clare, important things to me are family, music, nature and sport.
Very happily married for 21 years myself, I had the traditional Church wedding.
Over the years we attended many more weddings, and in more recent years a number that were not the typical church. I really loved the freedom of location, imagination and personalisation in every element that couples could bring to the day making it a truly unique and memorable celebration.
When crafting a funeral ceremony, central to this, Vincent values the power of music and song with its ability to comfort and heal. The freedom afforded by a civil funeral is a wonderful opportunity for families to choose relevant, special songs or tunes for the service and Vincent will help families in their choices.
Vincent also offers memorial services and ceremonies to commemorate the anniversary of a loss. It could be an intimate memorial with immediate family, or a larger gathering of the friends and family who were important in your loved one’s life. This could be anything from a candle lighting ceremony, tree planting ceremony or visiting their final resting place. This can be held, in a family home, hotel or outdoor venue.
