Baby Naming Ceremonies
Overview
The naming ceremonies we hold acknowledge the individuality of the child and the significance of his or her name.
We emphasize the uniqueness of each child without imposing any form of indoctrination on them and their families, instead we recognize the parents’ desire to love their child unconditionally and their desire to support their child as they grow to make their own decisions and learn from their mistakes but always with the help of their parents.
In naming ceremonies, couples express their desires and needs while focusing on the significance of the child as an individual in his or her own right whose unique spirit and integrity should never be manipulated, but rather their uniqueness should be cultivated and appreciated by the parents.
